Enhancing employee engagement with Cerrapoints
The app will enable HR units to embrace technology.
Cerrapoints, a new employee engagement app from Singapore-based company Rewardz, is described as a “one-stop HR platform for a happier, healthier, more efficient workforce.” Cerrapoints is a cutting-edge mobile-friendly incentive and flexible benefits programme.
“This app helps HR take a whole new step towards technology,” says Sudhanshu Tewari, Rewardz co-founder and CEO. “It’s an employee engagement app that enables organisations to reward their employees based on a point system which the app tracks.”
Tewari has over a decade of experience producing and managing applications across web and mobile platforms, including holding senior roles in global investment banks such as Credit Suisse, JP Morgan, and The Royal Bank of Scotland. He and Rewardz co-founder and COO Nicole Seah (a husband-wife duo) developed Cerrapoints because they believe Human Resources needs to embrace technology and go beyond the traditional salary & bonus compensation model.
HR departments are constantly called upon to boost morale and employee engagement, says Tewari, and the Cerrapoints app moves away from the one-size-fits-all approach by offering a simple customisable solution to companies and employees. Cerrapoints aims to increase job satisfaction by encouraging companies that utilise the app to reward their employees with points for contributing towards the company’s goals. Employees can redeem discounts and real-dollar value vouchers and goods.
Cerrapoints also provides real-time statistics and graphs on the effectiveness of the programme to the administrator. The administrator can gauge the return on initiatives on the various engagement and wellness initiatives.
With health and fitness tracking and rewarding built in the app, Cerrapoints also looks after employee well-being. It tracks steps and can be synchronised with other fitness apps such as Runkeeper, Strava, Fitbit, and Jawbone.
Further, the app promises to change the way you communicate within an organisation. It comes complete with a comprehensive dashboard and real-time updates on what’s happening in the company. It also improves productivity by reducing email traffic.
“As most millennials are now entering the workforce, a lot of news have been covering the fact that most individuals in this generation put a huge emphasis on job satisfaction over pay and recognition for their contributions,” says Tewari. “With this app, these employees will be able to work towards their personalised goals and be rewarded for it.”
