NUS' business incubator BLOCK71 expands to Vietnam

The university ties up with property developer Becamex IDC to enable access to seven business parks in Vietnam.

NUS Enterprise, the entrepreneurial arm of the National University of Singapore (NUS), has partnered with Vietnam-based infrastructure developer, Becamex IDC to expand the operations of the university’s business incubator, BLOCK71 to Vietnamese startups.

The joint initiative will support a two-way flow of talent, technologies and start-ups with the aim of promoting innovation and entrepreneurship development in both Vietnam and Singapore.

As BLOCK71 launches its network of resources, the initiative looks to leverage Becamex’s access to seven business parks in Vietnam. The business incubator will be able to assist startups with the piloting and testing of business ideas, opportunity grants to participate in validation programmes, and provide access to education programmes in tech innovation and entrepreneurship within NUS.
