
Singapore Exchange lists Cantor Fitzgerald as trading member
Cantor Fitzgerald's 5,000 clients around the world expected to bring in new global investors to Singapore.
Singapore Exchange (SGX) announced on Monday that Cantor Fitzgerald Singapore has become a Trading Member of its securities market, according to an SGX report.
“We welcome Cantor Fitzgerald to the SGX securities market. We believe Cantor’s strength and presence in major global capital markets will help increase and widen our distribution network, which is key in reaching out to global investors,” said Mr Rama Pillai, Senior Vice President and Head, Sales & Distribution at SGX.

Cantor Fitzgerald’s admission brings the number of Trading Members for SGX’s securities market to 27. SGX’s securities market also has 27 Clearing Members while its derivatives market has 30 Trading Members and 26 Clearing Members.
