Asia Pacific loan volume grew 30% in 2010

2,690 deals were the first annual increase since a record 2,951 deals were completed in 2007.

Dealogic said that the Asia Pacific loan volume reached US$637.7bn in 2010 with a 7% increase or US$ 174.5bn in 4Q 2010 volume compared with 3Q 2010 which came in at US$163.4bn.

Asia Pacific (ex Japan) loan volume reached US$392.3bn during 2010, up 67% from US$235.1bn in 2009. Deal count reached 1,248, the highest level on record.
