CapitaLand Treasury issues $500m perpetual notes

Listing of the notes is expected to take place on 18 October.

CapitaLand Treasury, a wholly-owned subsidiary of a wholly-owned subsidiary of CapitaLand, has issued $500m in aggregate principal amount of fixed-rate subordinated perpetual notes under the $5b Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) Programme established by the Issuer on 29 April, according to an SGX filing.

CapitaLand Treasury has received approval in principle from the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST).

CapitaLand announced that it will guarantee on a subordinated basis the due payment of all sums expressed to be payable by the issuer under the perpetual notes and the trust deed constituting the notes.

Listing of the notes on the SGX-ST is expected to take place on 18 October.
