Medtecs International saw the sharpest decline amongst top active stocks with a 21.84% contraction.
The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 21.57 or 0.81% lower at 2,631.48.
The top active stocks were Medtecs International, which crashed 21.84%, DBS which dipped 0.51%, UOB which slid 0.76%, Singtel which fell 0.4%, and UG Healthcare with a 10.66% contraction.
The FTSE Mid Cap inched down 0.32%, whilst the FTSE Small Cap slipped 0.77%.
