Fewer investors commit over 40% to ESG in portfolios
Only 28% did so in 2023, down from 37% in 2021.
The number of investors with ESG investments in Singapore decreased in 2023 compared to 2021.
Data from AXA Investment Managers showed that only 36% of investors in Singapore have funds labelled ESG or ethical in their portfolio, lower than the 38% record in 2021.
Of those who invested in ESG funds, more than half (52%) allocated 21% to 40% of their portfolio to such investments.
Only 19% of investors allocated 41%-60% of their portfolio to ESG investments, and even fewer (6%) allocated 61%-80%.
Compared to 2021, fewer investors (28% vs 37%) allocated more than 40% of their portfolio to ESG investments.
