It ranked 10th with a score of 94.8.
Lendlease Global Commercial REIT (LREIT) improved its ranking in the Singapore Governance and Transparency Index (SGTI) 2022, securing 10th place in the REIT and Business Trust Category with a score of 94.8.
This is up from 15th place last year with a score of 88.8, LREIT said in a statement.
“This is a great achievement given that this is only our second year in the index. “We will continue to strive for excellence in this area and will aim to further improve our ranking down the road, for the benefit of our unitholders as well as our other stakeholders,” he added.
The SGTI is a collaboration between CPA Australia, NUS Business School’s Center for Governance and Sustainability, and the Singapore Institute of Directors. This is based on the criteria including board responsibilities, rights of shareholders, engagement of stakeholders such as sustainability management, accountability and audit, and disclosure and transparency.
The index assessed 489 listed companies in the General Category and 44 REITs and Business Trusts for this year.
