Market Update: STI up 0.17%
Singapore Airlines Limited saw the sharpest decline during Monday's trading, with a 2.61% drop.
The Straits Times Index ended 5.28 or 0.17% higher at 3,126.88 at the close of trading on Monday, June 28.
Among the top active stocks were Keppel Corp. which grew 3.70%, Mapletree Industrial Trust which grew 1.79%, and Capitaland which grew 1.63%.
Included in the bottom performers were ThaiBev which fell 1.46% and JMH which fell 1.17%.
According to local news, Singapore shares advanced following gains on Wall Street. This is also after concerns eased about the Federal Reserve dialing back on support.
The FTSE 100 Index ended 63.10 or 0.88% lower at 7,072.97, whilst the NYSE Composite Index ended 85.06 or 0.51% lower at 16,573.72 at the close of trading on Monday.
