City Developments Ltd saw the sharpest decline during Friday's trading, with a 1.61% drop.
The Straits Times Index ended 5.85 or 0.19% higher at 3,144.16 at the close of trading on Friday, June 18.
Among the top active stocks were JMH USD which grew 3.09%, Sembcorp Ind which grew 2.37%, and ThaiBev which grew 2.16%.
Included in the bottom performers were Jardine C&C which fell 1.01% and Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust which fell 0.71%.
According to local news, trading became more active after it was announced that some restrictions will ease from June 21. By that date, F&B establishments will be open to diners for up to two persons, and the Jobs Support Scheme will be extended by three weeks at the current enhanced rate of 50%.
The FTSE 100 Index ended 135.96 or 1.90% lower at 7,017.47, whilst the NYSE Composite Index ended 267.70 or 1.63% lower at 16,143.95 at the close of trading on Friday.
