OUE REIT's wholly-owned subsidiary, OUE REIT Treasury, issued its first seven-year green notes worth $180m, due in 2031.
The REIT issued the notes at a 3.90% fixed rate.
The notes are under the unit's $2b Multicurrency Debt Issuance Programme and the Green Financing Framework established in March 2020 and November 2023, respectively.
According to the REIT, the offer attracted a final order book of S$300m, making it 1.7 times oversubscribed.
"Approximately 70% of the final allocation went towards institutional investors," the REIT said.
OUE REIT will use the proceeds from the notes issuance to finance or refinance, in whole or in part, new or existing eligible green projects that align with one or more of the recognised categories of eligibility under the Green Bond Principles (2021) and Green Loan Principles (2023), as outlined in its Green Financing Framework.
