SGC to back local, ASEAN companies expanding into Baden-Württemberg
Baden-Württemberg has attracted over 6,500 foreign firms.
The Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SGC) was appointed to represent the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, in Singapore.
As a representative, SGC will support companies in Singapore and ASEAN expanding into Baden-Württemberg, known for its economic strength and European innovation leadership.
The move, unveiled during a German political delegation led by Dr Florian Stegmann on 29 February, aligns with the Germany-Singapore Framework for Sustainability and Innovation, strengthening ties in innovation, sustainability, economic growth, and education.
The chamber will also aid Baden-Württemberg entities entering Singapore and ASEAN markets to foster collaboration amidst global uncertainties.
Additionally, SGC will expand bilateral cooperation on vocational education and training, building on a longstanding mutual understanding between Singapore and Baden-Württemberg.
