Singapore leads the women-led startup landscape in SEA
Singapore ranks 7th in the world’s most funding raised by women-led startups.
Globally, Singapore holds the 7th position in terms of funding raised by women-led startups to date, reported Traxcn.
In Southeast Asia, Singapore takes the lead in terms of the number of startups established within a city with 936 followed by Jakarta with 173, Kuala Lumpur (107), Bangkok (67), and Metro Manila (62).

Traxcn also revealed that Singapore leads in the total amount of funding secured by women-led startups in Southeast Asia with $3b across 380 rounds.
Closely behind Singapore is Jakarta with $935.9m of funding from 106 rounds and Cyberjaya with $86.3m across 10 rounds.
