Succession: Entrepreneurs reveal their preferred choices for wealth allocation

Compared to other investors, Singaporeans are more likely to allocate their wealth to future businesses.
According to HSBC’s Global Entrepreneurial Wealth Report, 39% of Singaporean entrepreneurs prefer investing in future businesses.
Looking at Singapore alone, entrepreneurs want to preserve or distribute their wealth to the next generations (66%) the most.
Entrepreneurs also like to allocate their wealth to real assets like personal property, art, and classic cars (35%) and use it for charitable or philanthropic causes (33%).
Some, meanwhile, would use their wealth to pursue projects of passion (19%) and sustainable or impact investing (15%).
