
Thai billionaire Charoen's FCL REIT listing on SGX gets go-ahead
It'll also include a hospitality REIT.
Thai billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi's proposed REIT listing of Frasers Centrepoint Ltd (FCL) has received the green light from the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST).
According to a release SGX-ST has issued its eligibility-to-list letter for a proposed IPO and listing on the SGX-ST of a stapled trust comprising a hospitality REIT which will hold a portfolio of hotels and serviced residences and a business trust which will be dormant initially. The company reiterates that no decision has been made as to whether the transaction will take place and there is currently no certainty that the company will proceed with the offering.
