Far East Hospitality Trust names Chng Kiong Huat as director

He is currently the executive director of the property services division of Far East Organization (FEO).

Far East Hospitality Trust announced the appointment of Chng Kiong Huat as non-executive non-independent director.

Over a 21-year period from 1993 to current, Mr Chng, 52, has held various positions within FEO and is presently an executive director of the Property Services Division. He was director of Development and Planning Department, FEO from January 2008 to September 2009 and director of Projects and Estates, FEO from March 2007 to December 2007., according to a Far East Hospitality Trust report. 

Mr Chng has a Bachelor of Arts (Architecture Studies) and a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and a LLB (Hons) from the University of London. He has also completed the Stanford Executive Program from Stanford University. He was conferred as a registered architect by the Singapore Board of Architects in 1996. FEO Hospitality Asset Management, as manager of Far East Hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust (the REIT Manager), and FEO Hospitality Trust Management, as trustee-manager of Far East Hospitality Business Trust (the Trustee-Manager, and together with the REIT Manager, the Managers).
