Nikko Asset Management Asia announced the appointment of Andrew Ross Long as director

Mr Long, 62, is the chief legal officer of Nikko Asset Management (Nikko AM) in Japan. He is a member of the senior management team of Nikko AM who oversees the global legal functions of the Nikko AM group. His legal and regulatory experience spans multiple jurisdictions globally and across Asia-Pacific. Ross has been involved in the law and finance industries for nearly 30 years, including more than 15 years as group counsel at the CLSA group, where he held a number of senior management and board member roles. As a core member of the CLSA group's global executive management committee, he helped oversee the group's successful business expansion, with significant growth across the Asia-Pacific region, according to a Nikko Asset Management Asia report.
