Nikko Asset Management Singapore appoints Ng Soo Nam as Executive Director

Mr Ng worked as Chief Investment Officer for Mirae Asset Global Investment Management (Asia).

Nikko Asset Management Asia Limited (“the Company”), the Fund Manager of Nikko AM Singapore STI ETF (“the Fund”) has considered Mr Ng’s qualifications and experience and has appointed him as Director of the Company.

Mr Ng. 46, is the Chief Investment Officer for Nikko Asset Management Asia Limited, according to a Nikko Asset Management report.

Mr Ng’s career in asset management spans more than a decade. Prior to joining Nikko AM in 2007 to lead its Singapore based Asia-ex Japan investment team, he was Chief Investment Officer for Mirae Asset Global Investment Management (Asia), which he helped to found in Singapore and where he led the investment team for Asia ex Japan and Korea from November 2004 to May 2007. Previously, Mr Ng worked at Schroder Investment Management (Singapore) Ltd., joining in 1995 as an investment analyst and over the subsequent nine years rose to become Director (Fund Management).
