Tan Sri Datuk Henry Chin Poy-Wu no longer Global Chinese Investors Group's independent non-executive chairman

He passed away on October 23, 2016.

Mr. Chin was admitted to University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) when he had the stroke and was in a coma for two nights.

His wife Puan Sri Shirley Cheng Hua Chien, 72, and two children, Alex and Melissa, grieve for him.

He served for 38 years in the police force before retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation as well as the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on illegal immigrants in Sabah.

He was also a member of the Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) board of directors.
