SGX makes changes to its board
One of the newest appointees is a former UK lawmaker.
Former UK lawmaker and businesswoman Claire Perry O’Neil has joined the Singapore Exchange (SGX) as a director.
O’Neil will be working alongside SGX CEO Loh Boon Chye, Mark Makepeace, Lim Chin Hu, Yeo Oon Jin, Julie Gao, and Lin Huey Ru, who all got re-elected as directors of SGX.
Meanwhile, SGX bid goodbye to Beh Swan Gin, who stepped down from the company’s Risk Management Committee (RMC).
Lim also stepped down from the Audit Committee but will still serve as chairman of the Remuneration & Staff Development Committee (RSDC) a member of the NGC and a member of the Risk Management Committee (RMC).
Chew, on the other hand, has ceased to be a member of the Nominating & Governance Committee (NGC) and as a member of the RSDC.
