8 of 10 Singaporeans interact with government through Facebook
Twitter leads in content with 54.47%, but only accounts for 2.15% of interactions.
In a report published by Emplifi, Facebook leads in interaction with Singaporeans at 75.66%.
The platform makes up 75.66% of total dialogue across the platforms covered, which include Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube. As of the first half of 2021, a total of 4.45 million Singaporeans are using the platform.
Twitter recorded 54.47% of social media, yet only had 2.15% of total contact; whilst Instagram registered 20.39%. Youtube, meanwhile, achieved over 9 million views in the first half of 2021.
The National Environment Agency, Ministry of Health (MOH), and Ministry of Education were the top three content publishers; while MOH, Ministry of Defence, and National Parks Board had the highest social media engagements.
