Here's a glimpse of SingPost's National Day commemorative stamp
They'll be up for sale on 5 August.
According to a release Singapore Post will be launching a series of three sets of commemorative stamps from 2013 to 2015 to mark Singapore's golden jubilee.
The first set of five commemorative stamps - Singapore: 48 Years of Independence (1965 - 2013) - will be released on 5 August, showcasing examples of what Singaporeans have shared, overcome and achieved together.
For the first time, this set of commemorative stamps will also be featured as ‘Cinderella stamps’ (i.e. stamps without postage value) in the National Day Parade (NDP) souvenir book, titled Our Storybook, which is included as part of the fun pack for all participants at the NDP.
Besides this set of five stamps, other stamp products of this issue include the Miniature Sheet (S$2.00), the Pre-cancelled First Day Cover affixed with the complete set of stamps (S$4.15), the Pre-cancelled First-Day Cover affixed with Miniature Sheet (S$2.75), the Presentation Pack with complete set of stamps and a miniature sheet (S$7.25).
All the stamp products of this issue will be on sale on 5 August at all post offices and the Singapore Philatelic Museum. Orders can also be made at SingPost’s online shopping portal, vPOST, at https://shop.vpost.com.sg.
