red dot Design Award 2013 begins call for Singapore entries

Design teams can begin submitting their best ideas.

red dot Singapore has announced that its “red dot award: design concept” 2013 competition has opened.

In 2012, red dot received 3,672 entries from 113 design institutions, 262 companies, 906 designers, 1,245 teams of 3,988 designers from 57 countries.

"This new round of the competition is about to commence, designers, manufacturers, studios, universities from all over the world are once again invited to submit their design concepts and prototypes for evaluation," red dot said. "How will the products of the future address our changing needs? What kinds of new products are likely to emerge? 'red dot design award: design concept' will provide a barometer of what’s to come."

red dot aded that works submitted from now till 21 February, submission fees are discounted.
