StarHub unveils Hindi channel SONY MAX
Kick off will be on 12 November.
Accordng to a release, fans of Bollywood blockbusters can soon have a bona fide Bollywood movie experience right in the comfort of their own homes when StarHub TV launches SONY MAX (StarHub TV Channel 131) on 12 November 2012.
SONY MAX, a hugely-popular Hindi channel from India, features the best of Bollywood movies and top-rated events. With the addition of SONY MAX, this brings the total number of Hindi channels on StarHub TV to nine. These include Channel [V] India, Star Plus, Star Gold, Colors, EROS Bollywood on Demand, Sony Ent TV, Zee TV and Zee Cinema.
Customers can catch explosive non-stop entertainment on SONY MAX with weekly specials such as Maha Movies, Super Cinema and Mera Movie. One of the main highlights is Current Bollywood hosted by veteran soap actress Shweta Kwatra, and it showcases the excitement and dramas happening behind the scenes in the glamorous world of Bollywood.

To allow customers to sample the channel, StarHub TV will be offering a free preview for SONY MAX from 12pm on 12 November to 12pm on 26 November. In conjunction with Deepavali, customers can also look forward to a buffet of free preview for selected Hindi and Tamil channels on StarHub TV from 12pm on 12 November to 12pm on 19 November.
They are Vijay (Channel 135), Channel [V] India (Channel 132), STAR Gold (Channel 129), Sun TV (Channel 133), Sun Music (Channel 134), Asianet (Channel 139), Channel-i (Channel 140), COLORS (Channel 128), Sony Entertainment TV (Channel 127), STAR Plus (Channel 126), Zee Cinema (Channel 130) and Zee TV (Channel 125).
