How much do advertisers spend on digital ads?

Digital spending makes up 59.7% of total ad spend in Singapore.

Marketers and advertisers in Singapore spent $2.34b in digital ads in 2023, Meltwater revealed.

The total digital ad spend in 2023 was 10.5% higher than in 2022 and makes up 59.7% of the total ad spend in 2023.

Advertisers annual spend on digital ads per user is US330.52 ($443.80).

For those planning to spend on digital ads, Meltwater revealed that WhatsApp is Singapore’s favourite social media app (27.2%) and most used as well (74.7%).

Singaporeans spend an average of 978 sessions per month on its Android app.

Facebook ranks second place as the favourite (16.7%) and most used (72.7%) social media platform in Singapore, whilst TikTok tops the spot for most time spent in the Android app with a total of 33 hours, 23 minutes per month.

 TikTok was the most downloaded app in Singapore in 2023, followed by messaging app Telegram and Bytedance-owned video editing tool Capcut.
