Bank Sarasin appoints new Credit Management Head
Janice Lee previously worked with Clariden Leu as chief credit officer.
Janice Lee joins Bank Sarasin & Co. Ltd as Managing Director as Head of Credit Management Asia. Based in Singapore, Lee reports to Peter Attiger, Head Group Credit, and Enid Yip, Chief Executive Officer, Asia.
With 17 years as a head of credit management at several bulge bracket firms, and most recently Clariden Leu, and a further seven years in the finance industry, Lee has exceptional expertise and experience. In particular, Lee has extensive experience assessing and evaluating credit risk for private banks with regard to products and jurisdictional issues across the region. She previously played a key role in growing credit businesses, including product innovation and credit structures for ultra high net worth individuals. Two colleagues from Clariden Leu have also joined Bank Sarasin’sCredit Management team.
Prior to Clariden Leu, Lee worked at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management as the Regional Head of Credit Risk Management, Asia Pacific for 10 years. She joined Deutsche from UBS Private Banking, where she was Head of the Credit Risk Desk Singapore. Lee also worked with Citibank and DBS, where she began her career.
Lee, a Singaporean, has a BA from the University of Kent. She speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien.
