His resignation was prompted by the company's board renewal process.
Xpress Holdings announced the resignation of Dr Wang Kai Yuen as Xpress Holdings independent non-executive director.
Dr Wang, 65, was chairman of the Audit, the Nominating and the Investment and Risk Management Committees and a member of the Remuneration Committee, according to an Xpress Holdings report.
He was appointed to the post 8 June 1999.
