Interactive Advertising Bureau Singapore appoints Ranji David as executive director
Ranji will drive IAB’s initiatives including education and training, standards and guidelines, research, events and industry outreah.
The Interactive Advertising Bureau Southeast Asia Singapore Chapter today announced the appointment of Ranji David to the role of Executive Director. With a 12-year track record across Marketing Communications and within the digital space, Ranji will drive IAB’s initiatives including Education and Training, Standards and Guidelines, Research, Events and Industry Outreach.
Ranji’s appointment is a pivotal step towards strengthening IAB’s role in Singapore’s rapidly growing digital industry. "With annual industry spend figures for 2010 just under S$100 million, Singapore’s digital industry is definitely growing at full speed. The creation of the Executive Director role and Ranji David’s appointment are strategic steps for IAB SE towards our goal of the digital space representing 20 percent of total advertising spend by 2020," says Ken Mandel, Chairman, IAB SE Asia Singapore Chapter.
"Having someone with Ranji's drive and determination will take the IAB to the next level of growth. The Leadership Council is very thrilled to welcome her, and I am confident our members will feel her positive impact in the organisation in the coming months,” Mandel adds.
The Executive Director role will be largely focused on providing current IAB members with greater support and visibility. In addition to working more closely with the advertising community, there are plans to increase the number of IAB networking events and provide much needed digital training courses.
