Professor Tan, 52, resigned to assume his appointment as chairman for Singapore Exchange Regulation which is a new subsidiary company set up by Singapore Exchange to undertake the market regulatory functions of the Exchange.
Professor Tan was appointed on August 6, 2007 as independent director . He was chairman of Nominations Committee and a member of Audit Committee.
