Scorpio East Holdings names Ong Chih Ching as group CEO and executive director

She was appointed as part of the re-constitution of the board of directors of the company.

Scorpio East Holdings announced the appointment of Ong Chih Ching as group chief executive officer and executive director.

Ms Ong, 44, will be responsible for the strategic planning and development of enlarged group's business, and spearheading the expansion and growth of the enlarged group, according to a Scorpio East Holdings report.

She was founding partner of the Singapore law firm Koh, Ong & Partners, where she specialised in corporate and real estate transactions. She also co-founded Koh Ong & Partners Management Services in 1999, providing secretarial, consultancy and corporate management services and founder and first honorary secretary for the Securities Investors Association (Singapore), an association with one of the largest memberships in the country and which represents investors' interests in listed companies.
