Singapore Press Holdings appoints Bahren Shaari as Director
He is also an Audit Committee member of the Group.
The Board of Singapore Press Holdings has considered the Nominating Committee's assessment of Mr Shaari's qualifications, experience and independence, as well as its recommendations. The Board is satisfied that Mr Shaari will be able to contribute much to the Company, according to a Singapore Press Holdings report.
Mr Shaari, 49, is also a Managing Director, Marketing Head of South East Asia of Bank of Singapore since Jan 2009. Before this he was Managing Director, Regional Market Manager for South East Asia and Australia International of UBS AG Wealth Management from April 1996 to December 2008.
