AirAsia's MoU with Singapore Tourism Board strengthens its Super App
The aim of this MoU is to further promote travel and tourism to Singapore.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at promoting travel to Singapore was signed between AirAsia and the Singapore Tourism Board.
The deal allows users of the AirAsia Super App to have access to a range of travel deals to the country, such as flight and hotel packages, meals, and other similar tourism experiences.
“We are delighted to collaborate with AirAsia, a key regional partner, as part of our efforts to support the recovery of the tourism sector. Southeast Asia, which AirAsia understands deeply, represents a key element of that recovery. Through the AirAsia Super App, STB anticipates reaching a wider regional audience and welcoming them back to Singapore,” commented Keith Tan, Chief Executive, Singapore Tourism Board.
The signed agreement also allows for both parties to cooperate in introducing digital solutions to strengthen the visitor experience in Singapore. Analytics gathered by the two, such as traveler spending patterns, can also be shared between the two to further understand the Southeast Asian market.
“As international borders gradually reopen, it is important for all industry stakeholders to collaborate and drive the travel industry forward. The AirAsia Super App is ready to facilitate travel across the region, as we now have a holistic travel platform with an enhanced user experience when making travel plans. This partnership with STB is strategic and timely, and we look forward towards promoting Singapore to all of our app users across Southeast Asia,” said Amanda Woo, CEO, AirAsia Super App.
