EnterpriseSG, IFC to heighten supply chain finance for businesses

The partnership will also create joint outreach and business matching.

As they aim to develop investment and supply chain finance for businesses, EnterpriseSingapore (EnterpriseSG) inked a memorandum of understanding with International Finance Corporation (IFC) for a partnership to guide financial institutions and businesses.

Under the partnership, it will help create business matching and risk solutions for businesses and financial institutions.

IFC will help financial institutions and enterprises on cross-border financing, whilst EnterpriseSG will work with DBS to create risk-mitigation solutions for trade finance in emerging markets.

The MOU was signed by Jeffrey Siow, managing director and Chief Operating Officer of EnterpriseSG and Nicolas Marquier, country manager for Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam at IFC.
