Global law firm returns to SGX-listed Hongkong Land’s portfolio
White & Case moving to York House, property under Hongkong Land.
Global law firm, White & Case, has expanded its footprint in Central, Hongkong after moving to York House, one of the prime office buildings under SGX-listed property management firm, Hongkong Land.
This means the law firm returns to Hongkong Land’s portfolio, allowing the property management company to reinforce its position as a leading landlord to the legal services space.
White & Case, which has a network of 45 offices in 31 markets, is currently occupying three floors of York House, with a total net floor area of over 25,000 square feet.
Eugene Man, Hong Kong office executive partner at White & Case, said the York House will allow their employees and clients to have access to corporate and market leaders in the leading global financial hubs.
Legal tenants rose to 31% of all office tenants and occupied more than 1.26 million square feet in the Hongkong Land central portfolio, as of 31 December 2021.
