IMDA, Mandai Wildlife Group partner to develop innovative solutions for local wildlife parks
The partners will focus on three areas, including Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).
IMDA and Mandai Wildlife Group have joined hands to co-develop innovative solutions for Singapore’s wildlife parks.
Under the Memorandum of Intent (MOI) signed by the parties, IMDA and Mandai Wildlife will work on collaborative projects in three key areas for two years: Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), sustainability and immersive experience.
“The collaboration will also facilitate the development of innovative solutions to address current market gaps and challenges, advance proven use cases for industry-wide adoption, and allow other enterprises to adopt these solutions for productivity and sustainability gains, while providing opportunities to trial and validate new solutions and use cases in the wildlife parks,” the parties said.
To kickstart the partnership, IMDA and Mandai Wildlife Group will embark on a Call for Proposal for outdoor AMR deployment enabled with tele-operations.
IMDA and Mandai Wildlife Group have identified four use cases: centralised operations, F&B delivery, concierge or visitor management and surveillance.
