Nanofilm's revenue grows at a faster pace of 27% YoY in 1Q2022
The faster growth was attributed to growth in all its business units.
SGX-listed Nanofilm Technologies International's revenue grew at a faster pace of 27% YoY in 1Q22 amidst growth in all its business units.
The major contributor to its revenue was its Advanced Materials Business Unit (ABMU), constituting 81%.
Breaking down into segments, 3C had the biggest contribution at 36%, mainly driven by the communications and wearables, and accessories sub-segments.
ABMU was followed by the Industrial Equipment Business Unit in terms of revenue contribution at 14%. This unit was led by equipment sales projects.
Meanwhile, Nanofilm's Nanofabrication Business Unit (NFBU) only contributed 6% of revenue during the first quarter, led by mass production projects.
Looking ahead, Nanofilm said it remains positive and confident for the rest of the year amidst possible macro o challenges.
