Over half of Singaporeans say gender is irrelevant in successful business leadership
They said men and women are equally good at creating financially successful companies.
Nearly two-thirds of Singaporeans believe that female and male leaders are equally adept at creating financially successful (58%) and innovative (60%) companies, IPSOS reported.
Of those with a preference, 16% said males are better, whilst only 8% think females are better at such aspects.
The study also found that the majority of Singaporeans (51%) do not have a gender preference when it comes to their “ideal boss."
Some 36%, however, prefer male bosses. Only 10% want female bosses.
