
Tan Choon Shian to step down as Workplace SG chief executive
He will take on a new role at Totalisator Board.
Tan Choon Shian will end his stint as Chief Executive of Workforce Singapore (WSG) on 1 July, following his appointment at the Totalisator Board (Tote Board).
From 1 April to 1 July, he will concurrently serve as Chief Executive for both the WSG and the Tote Board.
Tan will succeed Fong Yong Kian, the Chief Executive of the Singapore Totalisator Board, who will vacate the position on 1 July.

Succeeding Tan as WSG chief executive will be Dilys Boey, Enterprise Singapore's current Deputy CEO for Industry Clusters.
During his tenure as Chief Executive, Tan formulated long-term strategies for jobseekers and enterprises and instituted organisational changes to overcome workforce challenges.
Under Tan’s leadership, WSG scaled up its career assistance by expanding the reach of its service touchpoints and developing MyCareersFuture into a digital job-matching platform for jobseekers.
