AmCham Singapore Announces the Appointment of Josie Tulipano as Executive Director

The former General Manager of the Tower Club in Singapore will head up AmCham following the departure of Ms Laura Deal in March who moved to Hong Kong.

Ms. Tulipano brings with her 13 years of international experience in management, services, events and marketing and formerly held the positions of General Manager of The Tower Club Singapore and The Shoreline Beach Clubs serving the exclusive Palm Island in Dubai.

Additionally, Ms Tulipano has also previously worked as a management consultant on projects for Ayara Hilltop Resort, Pacific Star Asset Management and Lootah Vanbots.

Most notably, Ms. Tulipano was the award-winning General Manager of The American Club in Singapore from 2000 to 2007, and the youngest in its 62-year history who initiated a turnaround of The American Club. Under her leadership, The American Club turned a profit for the first time in seven years, member satisfaction and F&B spending flourished, and the open market value of the Transferable Membership doubled from what it was in 2001.

Ms. Tulipano said, “I am honored to be appointed as Executive Director. In the past few years, I have seen notable advancement in AmCham including the growth of membership, increased events, and an enhanced brand. I look forward to leading this dynamic organization, and taking the Chamber to greater heights.” Ms. Tulipano will begin at the Chamber on July 4, 2011.
