Singapore startup rents out iPad for tourists
Rental fee is only US$24 per day for the first two days, and US$16 per day thereafter.
TouristPads, which started operation only last month, bills itself as Singapore's first iPad rental company catering to tourists.
According to co-founder Joshua Wong, loaded on all their TouristPads are tourist friendly local apps, guides, and maps, as well as a sim card for customers to get connected to the internet on the go.
TouristPads' Mr Wong also said that the company offers a fuss free way for travellers to make the most out of their stay the minute they arrive in Singapore by providing complimentary delivery of their iPads to their customers at the airport or their hotel.
In order to provide an even better service to customers, Mr Wong said that the company plans to expand the business with partnerships with travel related industries.
