Law firms in Singapore, HK trail Australia in social media communication
Australiam firms "very much ahead" in comparison.
Singapore and HK law firms have to play catch up with their Australian counterparts when it comes to social media communication, according to the latest Living Ratings of Social Media & Brand Content in APAC Law Firms.
Commenting on the report, Nick Smith said: "While the leading international law firms in the APAC region continue to make strong progress in social media, the study shows that many leading local law firms in Hong Kong and Singapore demonstrate little or no appetite for social media communication. In contrast, there are 7 Australia firms in the Living Ratings top 10 which shows that the appetite for social media in this region is very much ahead of Hong Kong and Singapore."
Authored by Nick Smith, the study benchmarks 60 law firms in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.
Living Ratings was launched in 2012 to benchmark financial and professional services communications. Prior studies include Social Media and Brand Content in Professional Services (UK) and Sustainability Communication in Financial Services (UK).
The fourth Living Ratings study will analyse US law firms in comparison to UK ones and will be launched in January 2014.
