MOF seeks public feedback on the proposed IRAS amendment bill
The bill will allow IRAS to administer broad-based grants to businesses.
The Ministry of Finance has invited the public to provide feedback on the proposed bill to amend the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore Act 1992 (IRAS Act).
The bill seeks to allow IRAS to administer broad-based grants to businesses.
According to the draft bill, the amendment will also allow IRAS to carry out its grant processing activities and perform investigative and enforcement activities in the event of fraud or abuse.
Interested parties may provide feedback on these amendments until 19 November.
