International law firm Withers KhattarWong hires new Hotels & Hospitality partner
She comes from Dubai office.
Withers KhattarWong has expanded its team in Singapore through the hire of Hotels and Hospitality partner Lada Shelkovnikova. Lada joins the firm from Dubai office of Al Tamimi & Company.
Lada focuses on transactions in the hospitality sector and has advised hotel owners and hotel operators based in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Turkey, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Georgia and Ukraine on all aspects of hospitality and hotel development related matters, including hotel operator appointments, hotel acquisitions and disposals, project structuring of mixed-use developments, and branded residences/ serviced apartments.
Withers, the international law firm that works with KhattarWong as formal legal alliance Withers KhattarWong, launched its Hotels and Hospitality practice in March 2016 with the hire of Robert Williams, Justin Gross and their team, and added partner David Mallinson from Mayer Brown JSM in Hong Kong in August 2016.
Over the course of the year the practice has advised Marriott International in establishing its first JW Marriott hotel in Singapore, Pro-invest Group on an A$300 million capital raise for its inaugural Australian hotel fund and SilverNeedle Hospitality Group on a three hotel lease deal with the Queensland Investment Corporation.
