
Lawrence Lua appointed as DBS private bank Head of SEA business
Lua, who will be based in Singapore, joins DBS private bank from Julius Baer where he was managing director and senior advisor.
Lua, 53, brings 30 years of banking experience to DBS. Lua headed a Senior Client Banker team and was co-head of the Product Committee and Legal & Compliance Committee for Singapore. He was also involved in the setting up of the bank’s Advisory Excellence framework for Asia, which helps to better understand the clients’ goals, assess their risk profile and determine the appropriate investment solutions.
