Daily Markets Briefing: STI up 1.52%

CapitaLand led the gains after its stock grew 3.4%.

The Straits Times Index ended 50.65 or 1.52% higher at 3,372.26.

The top active stocks were DBS, which climbed 2.47%, Singtel, which fell 029%, UOB, which rose 1.84%, OCBC, which edged up 1.67%, and CapitaLand with a 3.4% advance.

The FTSE MidCap rose 0.87% whilst the FTSE Small Cap climbed 0.67%.
