Mirae Asset Securities is SGX’s new DLC issuer
It is listing 10 new DLCs, with the first set of DLCs to be offered in US dollars.
The bourse revealed that Mirae Asset Securities is to list 10 new USD-denominated DLCs designed to offer investors wider investment options SGX Securities.
In a statement, SGX said the new DLC issuer is listing 10 new DLCs, composed of five pairs of “Long and Short USD-denominated DLCs tracking the Nasdaq-100, S&P 500, Hang Seng Index, Hang Seng Technology Index, and Hang Seng China Enterprises Index.” These are the first set of DLCs listed on the bourse to be offered in US dollars.

“They will offer a leveraged return of up to 3x1, an expansion of SGX’s existing DLC product shelf to cater to different risk appetites,” said SGX.
DLCs with U.S. equities as underlying were first rolled out in March 2022 to help investors diversify and expand exposure into new markets.
SGX first offered DLCs for trading in 2017 and since it was introduced, more than 650 DLCs have been listed and traded on the platform.
In 2022, DLCs on SGX achieved a record turnover of $4.75bn, with a record of more than 300 new DLC listings.
