Moomoo gives users wider access to market data on Singapore stocks
Users can now view the "order book" for an asset.
Moomoo Singapore now offers users access to Level 2 market data for Singapore-listed stocks.
By doing so, Moomoo Singapore can promote the use of market depth data by retail investors and trading in Singapore-listed stocks.
Market data provides investors with insights regarding the bid scope and price levels of quotes submitted to an exchange.
Whilst Level 1 data provides traders with basic quote data, Level 2 data shows an "order book" for an asset or the list of orders placed for buying and selling a particular asset over time.
Traders can now see as many as five to 10 of the most recent bid sizes, including orders that have been placed but still need to be filled.
Data from Moomoo Singapore showed that 10.1% of investors who were profitable in trading Singapore stocks in 1H23 posted returns of more than 100%, whilst 40% posted returns of up to 10%, outperforming the Straits Times Index in the same period.
