62% of cybersecurity pros are struggling to keep up with evolving threats
On average, organisations deal with 54 cyber incidents each day.
Cybersecurity professionals feel that they are losing ground against cybercriminals, admitting that they (62%) are struggling to keep up with evolving threats.
To add, only in three professionals feel "very confident" about their organisations' ability to qucikly adapt to new threats.
Trellix Research found that on average, firms deal with 54 cybercity incidents each day, whilst some (39%) cope with 50 to 200 incidents daily.
Due to security breaches, 80% of organisations have lost up to 10% of their revenue in the last twelve months.
Medium-sized lost an average of 9% in revenue, compared to 5% for large businesses, representing revenue losses of between US$500m and US$1.25b.
According to 64% of professionals surveyed, they are unable to address security threats because their firms' current security tools do not enable their security operations team to work with maximum efficiency.
To strengthen the cybersecurity of their respective firms, some 18% of professionals have implemented XDR in their organisations.
Some also plan to implement technologies such as Network Detection and Response (NDR) (38%), Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) (36%), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) (35%).
