Keppel T&T’s net profit up 2.3% to $15.8m in Q1
Thanks to higher share of results from associated companies.
Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation (Keppel T&T) reported that its net profit increased 2.3% year-on-year to $15.8m in Q1, on back of higher share of results from
associated companies,
However, group revenue declined 2% year-on-year to $47.9m, due mainly to lower revenue from Data Centre Division/
Operating profit was lower by $1.1m due largely to absence of contribution from the two data centre properties disposed in December 2014, partly offset by gain on disposal of fixed assets.
Profit before taxation of $21.8 million increased by $0.6 million due to higher share of results from
associated companies, partly offset by lower operating profit.
