M1 launches new mobile broadband plans
The plans will be provisioned at 7.2 Mbps or 21 Mbps theoretical download speeds.
M1 said customers will now be able to know what their mobile broadband experience is, with the publishing of typical download speeds, ranging from 0.6 to 6.7 Mbps.
Four new mobile broadband plans will be available on 1 September 2011, and they will be differentiated by data bundle sizes.
For customers subscribing to the theoretical speeds of 7.2 Mbps, they can choose from a range of plans valued from $12 for 5GB to $40 for 50GB.
According to M1, mData’s monthly mobile broadband data usage above bundle will be capped at a maximum of $69.30 to dismiss customers’ worries of oversized bills.
